Other roles and projects: Black Rock City Air Force C170X - Desert Heist C170X - Christi Masi's Murphy Elite Bushplane
CC Pocock's Experimental SuperSTOL Cessna C170-X Bushplane
The most highly modified Cessna 170B in the world! (Possibly the most highly modified Cessna)
This airplane has been modified specifically for off-airport backcountry STOL / bush flying. It can take-off and land in under 100ft. Stall speed is currently 24kts. (Still working on that!) It has also been fully test flown in various aerobatic maneuvers including loops, rolls, hammerhead's, and cubans.

Airframe: 1952 C170B
Modifications: Carbon Concepts slats, double row leading edge Hall's brothers VG's, Sportsman leading edge cuff, fowler flap VG's, VG's on horizontal and vertical stabilizers, Gurney flaps on ailerons, carbon fiber control surface extensions, Alaskan Bush Wheels and brakes, ACME shocks, Supercubs North T-3 Tailwheel system.

Engine: TCM O-300A. (Originally this engine only produced 145 rated hp. It currently produces about 250+hp during take-off).
Modifications: 10:1 compression pistons, Titan Nickel-Carbide ported cylinders, tuned exhaust, dual oil coolers, Nitrous Oxide for short take-off and climb, Sterna 86" composite ground adjustable propeller.

Flight display instruments consist of two Samsung Galaxy tablets with EFIS and Nav Apps. Galaxy Tab 7's have internal 3-axis gyro's, accelerometers and GPS reciever. They are backed up with mechanical ASI, turn and bank indicator and altimeter.

This airplane is Milne "CC" Pocock's personal bushplane that he uses for backcountry off-airport exploration as well as demonstrating its capabilities at STOL competitions and other events around the United States. It has placed 1st, 2nd and 3rd in many competitions in the US. This airplane is modified to be able to carry a reasonable payload, fly extremely slow, and take-off and land extremely short in the backcountry. Although this airplane is not really suitable for or modified for "racing" it placed 4th bronze in the 2021 Reno STOL Drag Races, mainly due to running out of nitrous and a disqualification for landing before the line, otherwise it could have much placed higher. Reno Air Races has been ticked off the "bucket list" and so from now on more time will be spent on what this airplane is actually built to do which is real world off-airport STOL bush flying. This airplane is also being further modified for stunts, film, TV and special events. Look out for more photos and videos appearing on this page in the future.
